“Vancouver International Auto Show attendees will have the chance to win Grand Prize vehicles, including an all-new 2017 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum Midnight Edition and an all-new 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV. “

From a 1960 Ferrari GTO valued at almost $15 million to the everyday commuter car with a sticker price under 15 grand, the 97th edition of the show will have something for every budget.

Show executive director Jason Heard says his team recognizes the importance of catering to all tastes and pocketbooks at the show as the crowds from past years have consistently demonstrated they come from a wide range of income brackets, and consumption choice is largely based on purchasing power.

“One of the main considerations for the final selections buyers make is their income or wage levels, showing them what they can and cannot afford,” explains Heard.

The new Ford GT revs onto the stage of Auto China 2015 in Shanghai.

“We want to make sure the show includes everything from what the average commuter might need on a day-to-day basis to what the exotic or vintage car collector might be hoping to find.”

Among this year’s automotive displays will be a vast collection of the best in exotics and supercars that include models never seen before in B.C. Amidst them is the all-new, carbon-fibre Ford GT super car, which is credited with redefining innovation in aerodynamics with its 600+ horsepower EcoBoost engine and light-weight body.

The Acura Precision Concept is another car that will be making its provincial debut at this year’s show. This four-door sedan is a design-study model that Acura says, “will literally shape the direction of all future Acura products.”

As Vancouver is home to more exotic and super cars per capita than anywhere else in North America, the show will also have the best in Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Bentley and Aston Martin front and centre.

On the main show floor will be a diverse selection of commuter cars for consumers to pick from. Honda, Ford, Toyota, Subaru, Volkswagen, Land Rover and Buick are just some of the brand names to look for when at the show. They are bringing their latest and greatest such as the 2018 Toyota Camry and Camry Hybrid and Ford’s 2018 Expedition along with their best-selling models including Volkswagen’s Jetta Wolfsburg, the Ford GT and Land Rover’s Discovery Sport.

For those more interested in advancements made in electric vehicles, this year’s show will once again feature the popular green ride and program. The show will have two test drive locations, set up by CEVforBCTM and Toyota and LEXUS. Those taking these vehicles out for a spin to see how they perform will have several manufacturer offerings to choose from as well as the opportunity to do a short tour of Vancouver’s downtown core.

For the aftermarket fans, the Monster Energy DUB Show Tour will be back for another revved up year. New for 2017 will see everything from some of the best customized cars in the world, to lifted truck and jeep and crazy motorcycles. Internationally renowned and exceptionally popular, show goers will be awed by the wide array of customized vehicles on display.

Presented by the New Car Dealers Association of B.C. (NCDA), the 97th Vancouver International Auto Show, running from March 28 to April 2, will feature showcases from leading global automakers, supercars, and exotic vehicles. The show also includes aftermarket exhibitors that offer up anything and everything you need for your ride including the newest accessories. Located at the Vancouver Convention Centre West, the Auto Show continues to be the best-attended automotive event in Western Canada. The show is owned and operated by the NCDA and is considered British Columbia’s new model showcase for the Canadian automotive industry, representing nearly 40 distinct brands from the world’s leading manufacturers.
